Blue Sky Energy Solutions
Install, service, repair and provide ongoing support for Ground, Air Source and Air to Air Heat Pumps
Blue Sky Energy Solutions are installers of MCS accredited Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP). We are recommended by national suppliers of both Heat Pumps and renewables.
"I was immediately impressed by Rob’s level of experience and expertise and delighted to have the opportunity to form a partnership between Ice Energy and Blue Sky Energy Solutions. Since then we have worked together on many projects ranging from the installation of single Air Source units to much larger and more complex Ground Source Heat Pump applications. I now routinely recommend Rob to all of my customers who are in need of an experienced heating engineer to install their Heat Pump as I know that Rob has both the technical knowledge and the customer service skills to compliment any Ice Energy project."

Heat pumps are extremely versatile in their application an can be installed in virtually any home making dramatic savings on your fossil fuel boiler. The Heat Pump solution is not a 'bolt on' product that assists with a little hot water on hot days but a total heating and hot water renewable technology that requires no back-up system.
Heat pumps offer homes an opportunity to get up to 400% efficiency (four units of energy produced for every one used) out of their water or space heating systems. These systems have been on the market for some time and are suitable for use in homes or commercial buildings. They can provide a property's entire heating and hot water needs throughout the year, even through the coldest winter.
Both the Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pump qualify for the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) entitling you to money back for installing an MCS accredited renewable.
Ground Source Heat Pumps
The most efficient heat pump available is the Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP). For properties with a large amount of land around them, a Ground Source Heat Pump is often the most suitable.
By placing pipework in trenches, or via a bore hole, a low but steady heat can be extracted from the ground with collector coils full of fluid which are then converted through the heat pump and a refrigerant cycle into usable hot water.
As the energy used to provide the heating and hot water for your home is solar thermal in nature, you can be assured of a constant form of heat that is always there and always available.
We are based in Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire and also cover the surrounding counties of Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
We have recently completed projects across Milton Keynes, Berkhamsted, St Albans, Watford, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury and Northampton as well as further afield in North London, West London and across the South East.
Air Source Heat Pumps
When a build has limited land available the Air Source Heat Pump is a more practical solution for most buildings in the UK, particularly in towns or cities. A unit is placed outside the property and upgrades the latent heat in the air to a temperature hot enough to provide all the heating and hot water for the home. These work by drawing the required heat through a collector in the outside air. This air is then drawn over a heat exchanger with refrigerant which then converts the energy into usable hot water.
