Blue Sky Energy Solutions Experienced and knowledgeable about insulation systems
It is common knowledge that insulation is the key measure to reducing a property's carbon footprint. The Energy Saving Trust states that about a third of all heat lost in a home escapes through walls that are not insulated.
By insulating your solid walls you can better heat your home and start saving on your energy bills, whilst also reducing carbon emissions. Solid wall insulation is also a great way to improve the thermal performance of cavity walls that have already been filled. To help achieve super insulation levels.
Blue Sky Energy Solutions has extensive knowledge of insulation systems and where and how best to use them to maximum effort. It's not always simply a case of rolling out acres of rock wool in a loft space.
Our surveyors can evaluate the building structure and apply the right solutions to fit your needs.
External wall insulation is fixed to the outside of your wall, and then a decorative finish is rendered on top. This gives your outside walls extra protection through filling cracks and gaps, weather proofing and increasing sound resistance.
There are two ways to insulate a solid wall internally – with rigid insulation boards, or a stud wall. Stud wall insulation is thicker than rigid insulation boards, so it will reduce the size of your room more. But a stud wall is strong enough to hold heavy fittings such as kitchen units, radiators or wash basins. Insulation boards need fixings that go through them and into the wall behind.
Blue Sky Energy Solutions provide expert surveys to establish the heat loads of a property and can establish the most effective way to insulate your property. Call us on 01908 764410 or email us for more information.
